  • Award college scholarships through the Mark W. Fornwald Educational Scholarship Fund
  • Provide free grief books and educational resources to newly bereaved widows, widowers, and families
  • Host monthly Men’s Peer-to-Peer Grief Support Zoom meetings
  • Host a weekly Grief Support discussion on TikTok, creating a safe place for healing and connection
  • Produce our weekly Widowhood Real Talk with Dr. Tina Podcast
  • Organize our annual Butterfly Release Ceremony, honoring loved ones with hope and remembrance
    Develop our Memorial Garden, providing a lasting place for remembrance, healing, and community
  • Lead our annual Walk for Love, bringing communities together in support of the bereaved
  • Coordinate the Children of Widowhood Secret Santa Program, ensuring grieving children experience joy during the holidays

Mental Health Walkathon to provide encouragement and inspiration for the grieving struggling with depression and isolation.

During the Walkathon, we walk together, united in our mission to support mental health. From August 3 - 9, 2025 we encourage you to walk one mile daily. Share your journey by posting a picture on your favorite social media platform with #WRTWT #WALKFORLOVE, and let’s inspire others to join us.

Funds from the Walkathon will allow Widowhood Real Talk With Tina to conduct an Annual Grief Garden and a Butterfly release ceremony and provide participants journals & pens.
