Community Memorial Garden
(Name to Be Announced)
“This garden will help people remember, reflect, and find moments of peace as they navigate life after loss.”
Each year, Widowhood Real Talk With Dr. Tina gathers the community for a Butterfly Release Ceremony at 550 East Little Creek Road, Norfolk, VA, a moment to remember loved ones and honor the journey through grief. In this same space, the Community Memorial Garden is now taking root. What has long been a place of remembrance will soon become a permanent sanctuary for reflection, healing, and hope for the entire community.
Butterflies symbolize transformation and remembrance during community butterfly release events connected to the Memorial Garden.
A Memorial Garden for Reflection, Remembrance, and Healing
Garden Site
Living Destiny Church www.livingdestiny.org has designated the land for the garden to support the development of a community memorial space. While located on church property, the memorial garden is a separate project created and managed by Widowhood Real Talk With Tina.
This partnership allows the community to benefit from a dedicated place of remembrance and reflection.
The Memorial Garden will feature pollinator-friendly plants that support butterflies and other beneficial wildlife.
